 General administration      is responsible for organizing and overseeing      daily activities of the institution including the hospital. The department manages human resources, budgets, official communications, general discipline, policy implementation etc.. Recruitment of employees, training, functioning, setting the salaries and benefits of employees and managing employee-employer relations, are some of the primary duties of the Administration.      The policy-making body of the Institute is the Governing Body (GB) and the day-to-day activities are controlled by the Executive Committee (EC). To meet the objectives of the Institute, the Administration coordinates the activities of the Centre and creates policies so that all areas of the Institute staff function efficiently. The employees are periodically evaluated and proper guidance and training are provided to them to bring out the maximum output. Senior Officers lead these administrative services to assist the Director and are directly responsible for the day-to-day operation.     

1.    Karunya Arogya Suraksha Padhathi (KASP)is the health care scheme that aims at providing a health cover of Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year for secondary and tertiary care. 

2.    Karunya Benevolent Fund (KBF) is providing financial assistance to underprivileged people suffering from acute ailments like Cancer, Haemophilia, Kidney and Heart diseases, and Palliative Care. Those APL beneficiaries who have no KASP card or APL families and whose income is less than 3 lakhs are also eligible for this scheme, up to an amount of Rs.2.00 lakhs

3.    Cancer Suraksha Scheme (CSS) - Registered patients up to the age of 18 years would be provided treatment free of cost the age 18 years through the Social Security Mission.

4.    Thalolam - Thalolam scheme aims to provide free treatment to children below the age of 18, who are suffering from Kidney diseases, Cardiovascular diseases, Cerebral Palsy, Brittle Bone Disease, Hemophilia, Thalassemia, Sickle Cell Anaemia, Orthopaedic deformities, and other Neuro-Developmental Disabilities, Congenital anomalies (Endosulfan victims) and accident cases which needs surgery.
5.    Employees State Insurance Schemes – ESI Schemes aim to provide free treatment to the registered beneficiaries under ESI.
6.    Comprehensive Health Suraksha Scheme (ST) – The scheme intends to provide free treatment for patients belonging to the ST category having a BPL card and in the case of APL, financial support up to Rs.10000/- will be provided.
