The Division of Clinical Research & Biostatistics (CRB) was formally organized in 2013. The Division of CRB was created primarily to coordinate the clinical, epidemiological and translational researches in the institution, coordination of collaborative research ventures, education in the field of biostatistics, Bioethics and clinical research, administrative responsibilities in institutional academics, various courses and training conducted in MCC-PGIOSR ,organization and monitoring of Institutional Review Boards-Scientific Review committee(IRB-SRC), Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC), Scientific Advisory Committee(SAC),various external standing committee. It also provides statistical consultation for the academic faculties and other components of oncology departments.Training of academic staff and students in clinical research and biostatistics is also an important function.The mission of the Division of Clinical Research and Biostatistics is to develop, disseminate and apply bio statistical and analytical methods for research in the cancer, encompassing both research design and analysis. Division supports the conduct of clinical trials, data management , regulatory requirements etc. At presently the department is working under the supervision of Director, MCC-PGIOSR.
Division has the facility of IBM SPSS version 20.0 for doing statistical analysis
